BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Our Mariachi teachers serve as role models to the students as instructors are from economically challenged families and have become successful performers and teachers. Most have completed two years of college. While their backgrounds make them accessible role models for the students, they also to aspire to finish college themselves. Our board, along with teachers who are close to the program, is working with the Mariachis to help them finish their degrees. In addition, many of the parents of our students have requested mentoring regarding starting or finishing college, and our board members enthusiastically provide this assistance.
